Booking Terms & Conditions
Booking & Initial Investment
To confirm your bridal slot with Maria Gabriela Couture, the first investment installment (as outlined in your selected payment plan) is required. This secures your place in our production calendar and initiates the planning and preparation of your custom piece.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the highly personalized nature of couture work and the limited number of brides we serve each year, all bookings are final and non-refundable once the first investment has been made.
However, in the event of an unforeseen cancellation, we will schedule a consultation to discuss your options. Please note that a minimum of 30% of your total gown cost is non-refundable, regardless of how much has been paid to date. This accounts for time, consultations, design planning, calendar reservation, and potential material sourcing.

Design Revisions
If there is a request to revise or change the original agreed-upon design after confirmation, your investment total may be subject to change. This reflects the potential need for new materials, design adjustments, labor, or scheduling impact. All revisions will be quoted and approved before proceeding.
Payment Schedule & Journey Flow
All payment plans are thoughtfully spaced — typically one month apart between each installment. We highly encourage timely payments as outlined in your chosen plan, so we can focus on what truly matters: creating a beautiful, intentional, and seamless bridal experience for you.

To ensure we create a magical, efficient, and respectful experience, we kindly ask that all key decision-makers be present during the consultation. This helps us move forward with clarity and confidence — and make the most of our time together.
That said, we recommend keeping your circle small — too many voices can create confusion and overwhelm during what should be a joyful and focused experience.scription

To be fully transparent — most of our brides do not need alterations. That’s always our goal: to make sure your gown fits beautifully right from the start, so you don’t have to stress about extra fittings.
We’ve designed our process to minimize or eliminate the need for alterations by including:
A mock-up fitting (included in every package, even though it wasn’t in the past),
Our signature measurement method, using the MGC Measurement Guide & Tutorial Video, and
Flexible features like corset backs that allow room for minor body fluctuations.
That said, your body may still shift — especially if you’re working toward fitness goals (which we love to hear about in advance so we can design accordingly). So while most brides don’t need it, we always recommend setting aside a small budget for potential minor tweaks, just in case.
✨ Pro Tip: We recommend starting your custom dress no earlier than 6 months before your wedding to ensure the best fit and minimize any size-related surprises.

We typically ship your gown 1–2 months before your wedding date, depending on the timeline we’ve agreed upon. In some cases, we're able to adjust this based on your needs — just let us know, and we’ll coordinate together.
To be fully transparent, while we always aim to stay ahead of schedule, unexpected delays can occasionally happen. If they do, I personally make it a priority to communicate and align with you every step of the way.
✨ Fun fact: Over 80% of our brides are from overseas — mostly the U.S., followed by Australia, Canada, and New Zealand — so international shipping is something we handle with care and experience.

Surprise expenses can disrupt that — and I never want that for any MGC Bride.That’s why I’ve made the decision to personally cover all duties and taxes on international shipments, so your gown arrives to you without any unexpected costs. 💌✨
