Real Brides. Real Stories.
Every dress begins with a bride, a vision and a story. Discover the Filipiniana wedding dresses we have created for brides around the world and the journeys behind them, from the first Dream Dress Call to finally wearing their Filipiniana on their wedding day.
βI canβt believe you turned my dream wedding dress into reality. I am beyond grateful, and so blessed to have found you to be part of our special day.β
When Mariyen first reached out from Houston, Texas, she wanted something Filipiniana, but different. She imagined something timeless that she could wear beyond just one day. And thatβs exactly what she did. She first wore her dress for their elopement, then brought it out again a year later for their first anniversary photoshoot, giving her dream dress another beautiful moment to be part of their story.
Hear directly from our brides as they share what the MGC experience felt like, from the first Dream Dress Call to the moment they finally wore their Filipiniana.

βYou are so talented! I love how it looked, and it was like a dream.β

βI will always treasure this dress as it shows my culture to my husband and my soon to be children.β

βI felt like a princess, which was what we were going for! I'm so happy we got to do the reception look and our dance without the dress restricting me.β

βThank you so much for the smooth process. I felt so beautiful.β
Emma wasn't simply looking for a wedding dress. She wanted a piece of home to wear as she walked down the aisle in the Philippines. She fell in love with our Sonya design before it even existed in white, so together we reimagined it with new lace and details just for her. As one of my very first Filipina brides, Emma's trust became such a special part of the beginning of Maria Gabriela Couture.

βIt was so beautiful, and thank you for assisting me when there were shipping issues. I never felt like I was just buying a dress. You were there to support me.β

βIt's so unique. I feel like I have my grandma with me even though she's in the Philippines.β
Dhanica's dress was especially close to my heart because she's also my best friend. She had always loved our Rowena design, which we transformed from ceremony to reception for her wedding day. More than a beautiful dress, her Filipiniana became a way to feel close to her grandma and carry a piece of home with her.

βIt was so hard to find someone who could do what I was envisioning because not only did I want a non white dress, but also a Filipiniana.β

βSobrang ganda! Thank you for accommodating and being patient with me when I changed direction with my dress.β

βEven before I met my husband, I've always wanted to wear this design, and I'm so happy you said yes to creating it!β

βEverything was so smooth. I am beyond words. You did a beautiful job, and it makes me even more excited for my wedding day.β
Allison's journey with me began years before her wedding when I created her graduation dress. When she returned and trusted me with another milestone, her original Lou inspired vision evolved into a romantic all lace Filipiniana. From graduation to walking down the aisle, creating for her again was such a special full circle moment.

βThank you for being so kind and patient as my body went through changes in my measurements, and for making sure that it would still fit me.β

βThank you so much for going above and beyond for my dream dress.β
Meryl originally imagined her ivory Filipiniana as a rehearsal look inspired by our Sonya design. But once it came together, she loved it enough to make it part of her reception too. Created completely online, we worked through measurements, fabric changes, and hand sewn lace details to bring her soft and elegant vision to life.
