Maria Gabriela Couture
Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Initial Investment
To confirm your bridal slot with Maria Gabriela Couture, an initial investment is required at the time of booking, as outlined in your selected payment plan. This secures your place in our production calendar and initiates the design and preparation process for your gown.
Due to the highly personalized and limited-capacity nature of couture work, a minimum of 30% of the total gown investment is non-refundable. This portion compensates for consultation time, design planning, scheduling, and preliminary preparations.
2. Cancellation & Changes in Circumstances
If the project is cancelled for any reason, the non-refundable portion of the investment will be retained. Additional payments made beyond the initial non-refundable portion may only be refundable before materials are sourced and production begins. Any costs already incurred by Designer (including materials, labor/fittings, and consultations) will be deducted prior to any refund being issued.
In the event of a cancellation, a virtual or audio consultation will be scheduled to review work completed and determine a fair and reasonable resolution for both parties.
This approach is designed to protect both your investment in a one-of-a-kind garment and our commitment to limited-capacity craftsmanship.
3. Design Approval & Revisions
By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you are satisfied with the agreed-upon design direction of your gown.
Design refinement is a natural part of the couture process. However, any significant design pivots or changes beyond the original scope may result in an adjustment to the total investment to reflect additional materials, labor, or scheduling impact. All such changes will be discussed and approved prior to proceeding.
4. Custom Work & Fit Expectations
Included in the couture experience: custom design mock-ups, up to two fittings, and minor refinements within the original scope. Anything beyond this should be quoted separately.
We are committed to achieving a beautifully tailored fit through our couture fitting and refinement process. Minor fit adjustments within the original design scope are included as part of the experience.
Significant body changes, major design alterations, or additional customization requests beyond the original scope may require additional fees.
5. Client Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth and timely design journey, the Client agrees to:
Provide feedback, approvals, and required information within agreed timelines
Attend scheduled fittings or consultations (virtual or in-person)
Communicate changes or concerns promptly
Delays in communication or missed appointments may impact the production timeline and are not the responsibility of the Designer.
6. Payment Schedule
Payment plans are spaced according to the selected investment option. Timely payments are required to maintain your production timeline and ensure a seamless experience.
Failure to complete scheduled payments may result in a pause in production until the account is brought current.
7. Media & Marketing Release
The Client grants Maria Gabriela Couture the right to use their experience, recorded consultations, testimonials, and images of the finished garment for business purposes, including marketing and social media, unless otherwise requested in writing.
8. Force Majeure
Maria Gabriela Couture shall not be held liable for delays or inability to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to material shortages, supplier delays, illness, or unforeseen events.
We understand that life circumstances can change. Once a booking is confirmed and the design process has begun, this agreement remains in effect regardless of changes in personal circumstances, including engagement changes, relationship status, or wedding plans.
Clients are encouraged to reach out should such circumstances arise so we may discuss available options with care. Financial terms, including the non-refundable portion of the investment, will continue to apply.
Limitation of Liability:
Under no circumstances shall Designer’s liability exceed the total amounts paid under this Agreement.
9. Agreement Acceptance
By completing your booking and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. This agreement constitutes the complete and binding understanding between the Client and Maria Gabriela Couture.
We are honored to be part of your bridal journey and look forward to creating something deeply meaningful with you.
