Lena reached out with the sweetest message. A Vietnamese bride marrying into a Filipino family, she wanted to honor her partner’s heritage through her wedding dress — a modern Filipiniana filled with sparkle, sentiment, and meaning.

“I would love to honor my partner’s family during our wedding by wearing a wedding dress with his cultural background in it.”
From that moment, I knew this design had to be extra special — something radiant, heartfelt, and unforgettable.
The Sketch & Creation
Lena’s vision was clear: sparkles — lots of them! But the journey wasn’t without a few divine twists. The original fabric she wanted was out of stock everywhere. Somehow, I remembered a designer friend who had used the same fabric months before. When I reached out, she had just enough left — exactly the amount I needed.
It felt like fate. ✨
From there, the dress came to life through five luxurious layers of fabric, a fully beaded bodice, and the longest train I’ve ever made — a true labor of love and craftsmanship.
We moved forward with her custom mock-up and fabric selections, bringing every element of her new vision to life with care and intention.
